Activities!
YAP does an activity every month! Here are some of the things we have done!
The Father Daughter Ball is held at the Westminster City Rec Center. YAP members helped the event run smooth by acting as waiters/ waitresses. We refilled drinks, bused tables and helped with clean up. We ended the event by handing out gift bags to participants.
Outside of the Westminster City Rec Center, YAP members and volunteers helped out by running concessions. Glow sticks and lights were also sold for the fun filled evening.
Every year, the City of Westminster holds either a 3k or 5k race. Yappers sold t-shirts and took race ballots from participants!
YAP members baked cookies and pizzas, made sandwiches and salads, and then put it all together to feed the homeless!
After the Stampede, Yappers helped run the City of Westminster tent and provide information to attendees. Lots of dogs came by to say hi and to sample treats from our sponsors!

Everyone came in costume and had a blast! There were games, crafts, food, prizes and all out fun! Glad to see so many kids there!
Craft Fair
Each year, this event is held at the MAC. The Yappers prepare food for those that come to enjoy the crafts! The proceeds go to the Westminster Youth Scholarship Fund!

Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Enjoy Christmas lights, music by local school and professional chorus groups, refreshments, hay rides, a bonfire and meeting Santa Claus. The Yappers lend a hand with the hayrides, refreshment table and
pictures with Santa!
Have- A-Heart
As a panel we helped the Have-A-Heart crew gather and sort donations.
Community Summit
Precious Child
Different city people gather to talk about Westminster and how it can be improved! The Mayor and all of the city council were present to hear all the great ideas!
YAP helped out this great foundation that collects clothes, house hold items, toys, toddler needs and so much more. We organized bins and put things on shelves for the families to chose from.
Pride Day
YAP thanks all the volunteers that helped out with trash pick up for pride day! Yappers helped with the barbeque and raffle tickets! Fun was had by all, even the ones sunburned!
